Raja Ratna General Hospital’s Free Eye Care & Eyewear Distribution Initiative
At Raja Ratna Academy of Medical Sciences Research Centre & General Hospital, we believe that clear vision is a fundamental right, not a luxury. As part of our ongoing commitment to community wellness, we are proud to
continue our regular outreach tradition: free eyewear distribution drives held every month on the 15th and 30th.  
Continuing Our Mission of Care
Good eye health is essential for daily living, work, and overall quality of life. Unfortunately, many individuals in our community suffer from uncorrected vision problems simply due to a lack of access or resources. To bridge this gap, our monthly eye camps are designed to reach out directly to those in need, offering comprehensive check-ups and essential visual aid.
During our recent session, we successfully examined patients and distributed free spectacles to over 50 individuals, helping them regain clear sight and a renewed sense of independence.  
Highlights from Our Recent Mega Eye Camp
Our latest event, organized under the auspices of Raja Ratna Healthcare and Educational Trust, was a tremendous success. We were honored to have P.V. Ramana Rao (Health Supervisor, PHC Velangi & Unit Officer, Karapa) grace the occasion as our Guest of Honour. His presence and encouragement added immense value to our mission of community health promotion.
