Striding for a Healthier Tomorrow: Raja Ratna Group of Institutions Observes World Heart Day with an Enthusiastic 2K Run

On September 29, 2026, the streets of Ramachandrapuram echoed with energy, enthusiasm, and a unified commitment to health.

To mark World Heart Day, the Raja Ratna Group of Institutions, Ramachandrapuram (encompassing Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and GNM programs) organized an energetic 2K Awareness Run under the banner: “Don't Miss a Beat – Awareness Walk”.

Running for a Cause: Healthcare & Allied Programmes for Healthy India

Cardiovascular health is a pillar of overall well-being, and raising awareness about heart diseases is more critical than ever. Emphasizing this year’s theme of proactive heart care, students and faculty members from B.Sc. Nursing, BPT (Physiotherapy), B.Pharmacy, and GNM came together in massive numbers.

Dressed in matching event t-shirts and holding high-impact awareness banners, the participants took to the streets of Ramachandrapuram. The procession symbolized a shared healthcare vision: inspiring the local community to adopt active lifestyles, monitor their cardiovascular health, and prevent heart complications through regular exercise and balanced living.

Highlights of the Day

Massive Student Participation: Future healthcare professionals from nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and GNM streams marched and ran shoulder-to-shoulder, displaying remarkable solidarity.

 High-Energy 2K Run & Walk:

The participants completed the 2-kilometer route through Ramachandrapuram, capturing public attention with banners carrying vital heart-health messages.

Community Engagement: The event successfully served as an active public reminder under the campaign slogan, “Healthcare & Allied Programmes for Healthy India,” urging citizens not to miss a single beat when it comes to taking care of their hearts.

Building Future Healthcare Leaders

Events like these go beyond routine academics. They instill a sense of social responsibility in students pursuing medical and allied sciences. By stepping out of the classrooms and leading the 2K run, Raja Ratna students demonstrated what it means to be ambassadors of health—not just inside hospital walls, but out in the community as well.

The Raja Ratna Group of Institutions extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participating students, faculty members, and local authorities who helped make this World Heart Day a resounding success. Let’s keep moving, keep active, and keep our hearts beating strong! ❤️
